The diffusion effect softens light by placing a diffuser between the flash tube and the subject and exposing the subject with soft light and weakening the subject's shadow. The larger the area of the diffuser, the softer the light becomes, as does the shadow. |

When standing outdoors under sunshine, a clear dark shadow is cast behind us, like a sundial. How we reduce it ? There is a bounce kit, but it is impossible to do without sealing or wall. In this case the diffuser is recommendable to use. By changing a spot flashing to area flashing, the diffuser enables you to lighten and soften the unnatural direct flash light.

â– Be careful the light loss
When using the diffuser, the flash output is reduced. So the distance suitable for direct lighting may be under aperture when fitting diffuser. Please be careful when taking photos and try to use a flash with bigger guide number.
